The Fanes Senes Braies Natural Park was established in 1980 by the Province of Bolzano. It extends across a surface of 25,680 hectares and comprises the villages of: Badia, Braies, Dobbiaco, La Valle, S. Vigilio di Marebbe and Valdaora. It is therefore one of the largest Natural Parks in the region. To the north the park boarders with the Puster Valley, to the east with the Landro Valley, to the south with the province and the region of Veneto and to the west with the Badia Valley. The entire park area is part of the Dolomites.
The Pizes de Cir (Ladin: Pizes de Cir; Italian: Gruppo del Cir; German: Cirspitzen) is a mountain range in South Tyrol, Italy. They are part of the Dolomites, north of Gardena Pass. The highest peak of this mountain range is the Gran Cir with an elevation of 2592 meters.
The Puez-Geisler Nature Park (Italian: Parco naturale Puez Odle; German: Naturpark Puez-Geisler) is a nature reserve in the Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy.
It is called “Mauraberg” or “Chi Jus”, and it is a plain elevation in the shadow of the mighty Sass de Putia - nevertheless it is a first choice viewpoint and ideal for a little mountain walk.
